floor pans???

Hey all,

First time posting and first time using!

Does anyone have any experience buying floor pans for 66 chevy c10?
I have looked around the web and have found a few different styles:
classic industries
summits
LMCtruck

The LMC truck ones say "oe" but are twice as much, are the ones from classic industries any different?

Anyone with experience much appreciated!

Your always going to pay more from LMC on pretty much everything. Mostly everyone here buys from classic industries. They are vendors here so check them out. Also there is GMCPaul, Mar-K, Brothers Truck, Several diffrent places on here and they give forum discounts. just look them up.

Oh ok awesome! Thanks for the info!

I am mostly wondering about the "originality" of the floor pans! The pictures don't seem to match up to my exact floor?

A lot of vendors dont have the right pics, but they fit well on the trucks. best bet is to go with Classic industries.

:hi: and welcome aboard!!

I got my pans from Goodmark. I can't remember who their supplier is, but they were a pain.

Post up some pics of your truck and your progress.

Brothers is a real good company and good customer service, I've bought several stuff from them and will continue too.

When it comes to replacement and patch panels, just keep in mind where they are made and that most likely they will need a certain amount of re-work to make them fit correctly. Sometimes the parts will fit well and other times they will not. That's been my experience with the parts I've purchased from Classic parts. The parts they carry are made by Key Parts and imported by Tri-Plus ( I think I got that part right).

A little tip on patch panels. You don't necessarily have to use the whole patch panel. I only cut out as much as I need to to get to good solid metal, and cut the patch panel to fit. And concerning the floor patch panels, depending on the extent of the rust in your cab, there is a panel available that runs from the back wall of the cab all the way to the firewall, and inward from the rocker panel a few inches......and includes the inner rocker panel. This can be easier than welding in two pieces, if it will work for your situation.

they don't have pictures but these have the hole punched out for the body mount and even have the nuts welded on for the trans tunnel cover
