1953 Chevy Panel Van back to life, was in movie SHAG
Hey Ya'll!!
I just brought home my newest project, a 1953 Chevy Panel Van. This was in the movie, "Shag", filmed here in Myrtle Beach in 1989. Its without engine or tranny, but very buildable. My plans are to transplant the components from a 1994 Z-28 including the sub-frame, disc rear, and LT-1. Hope to get it down into the weeds, and DRIVE it from here to the 2010 Van-in at Butler, PA. No pics tonite, but will post some. Needing some help from ya'll. I'm in real need of hinges for the right rear door, or info as to what vehicles will interchange or work for me. Anyone had any expererience with the hinges?. |

Of course we need pictures.
Doesn't a 94 have struts in the front? I think you need an earlier model car for the front end. |

Was that the panel truck over in Conway? I kicked the tires on it a few weeks ago! Congrats on your purchase.
