WI - Newb with a '66 Stepside
Whats up everybody. New guy from the Milwaukee area here.
My baby right now is my '66 stepside; my first venture into the "oldschool". Heres a quick rundown; 355 w/ 700r4, posi rear, lowered 4" front and 6" in the rear with a notch. Converted to 5 lug and manual front disc. A couple little go fast goodies on the motor, 13gal fuel cell and i'm sure other stuff i missed. So far its probably the most fun thing I've ever owned, and the oldest by about 22yrs.:metal: Excuse the rough-looking hood. I've got plans for it of course, and alot of work ahead of me! http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...y/UNI_0718.jpghttp://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...y/UNI_0720.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...y/UNI_0721.jpg |

:welcome2: to the board from Mid-MO!!!
You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. What a slick '66! Be sure to post your progress in your own build thread in the 60-66 Message Board. Best of luck with the project! |

Re: WI - Newb with a '66 Stepside
Thanks for the responses! The 60-66 section is actually what brought me to the board, over from the H.A.M.B.
Currently I'm relocating my stop/turns from the tailgate bracket into the fenders where the reverse lights should be, then tackling some bodywork/finishing issues before I repaint. Then its time for a little more motor work. |
