Hi from Idaho

Hi everyone, I've been a member for some time now, I just haven't been active due to the fact I've just been very busy the last couple of years (work related). I own a 72 GMC 1/2 T 4x4 and a 72 K5 4x4. Both medium blue in color. GMC is about used up due to rust runaway, and really it is still a good driver, but not worth trying to save (winter truck and JY parts runner.) K5 is an ongoing project. Paint is done and I'm nearing completion on the drive-train mods which include a warmed up 355 TPI SB using a MegaSquirt MS II ECM with a 700r4 and NP 241 TC out of a 90 suburban. I haven't yet lit the engine off....so how this will all come together remains to be seen. Anyway, I wanted to say "hey" and what a great site I think this is. I'll have to figure out how to post some pics in the not to distant future.

We glad to have you on the board, its a great place to be..you got some nice sounding rides...as for posting pictures you can do it two ways you can attach the picture directly during your reply by hitting the manage attachments button or you can use a site like photobucket to save your pictures there and then post them here

And Bob's ur uncle

Still can't see how to place captions or labels on or in between the pics tho. Or if you can post more than 3 at once.:new:

K5 pic was taken in the early spring (snows a lot here) fresh out of the body shop...i don't even have the door handles on yet.

Hey another spud!! Soda Springs is a pretty place --Welcome back to the fun -- Check out the Idaho club-- Go to User CP in top header> networking in left header> social clubs. Looks like the truck fell victim to Utah's road salt

Welcome from a little farther North.
Real nice K5....the '71-'72 K5's are one of my favorites.
