WTB A list of stuff I need to restore my 67

I trying to restore my 67 back to the original 250 L6/3spd setup and will need a BUNCH of stuff. I have tried to some degree to search this board, but my crappy internet connection was driving me insane

3spd tranny, linkages, clutch petal, fork. flywheel, bellhousing, and crossmember
3 spd column + wheel
Front driveshaft
Manual steering box

I know there will be more needed as I go, but this will keep the project moving along.

Thanks in advance

Steve

Since you said that you need a front driveshaft, I am assuming that this is a 4x4? I have the steering box that you need. It is not a common part but I am not tryng to retire on it. Let me know, I need the garage space. $30.00 plus shipping.

It's a 2wd and the shaft is the one from the tranny to the carrier bearing. Should have given a bit more description in my original post. Is the steering box you have for a 4 wheeler or does it matter?

Thanks

I have a complete 2wd c10 gmc with a 6 cyl and 3 spd on the column you can rob just about everything you need out of it. 75.00 and you pull the parts. Am in no hurry.... 2.5 hrs north of mpls.

The steering box that I have is for 4x4. The 67 early 68 years are still a mystery to me in some cases so I cannot be sure if it is different than a 2wd. I know that they are different from late 69 to 72.

Hey breeh, Sent you a PM concerning the 4x4 steering gear box.

jmanz69 01-15-2003 06:09 PM

I have a manual steering box from my 69 if it will fit. Had a little slop in it. Probably needs a rebuild. I'll sell it for $15 plus shipping. Also have the whole 2-piece drive shaft from my 69. How long is the front part you need? I can measure mine to see if it will work. Sell you the whole thing for $30 plus mail. Or make reasonable offer on any of it.

I have most if not all if your are still looking.

Tim Christian 01-15-2003 09:44 PM

I also have everything you listed. Cheap!

I am pretty new to this board and this is amazing how quick the response was on this. Thanks to all who responded. What I will probably do is start with the folks who are closer ( save cost on time and shipping) and will contact the rest of you if I have problems finding what I need. I am sure as this project continues there will be more parts needed.

Thanks again
Steve
