70 BB 1 ton parts truck - Firetruck!!!
 

I bought this truck for the motor. I'm going to try to sell the body if someone is interested. Here's the scoop - Custom 30 (133 wheelbase). Jaco equipped firetruck used at a large aluminum plant. This truck came from a plant up north and was relocated down here at some point. 12K miles on the odometer. Looking at the steering wheel and bright gauges, miles could be original.

Here's what's included : Body as seen in pictures, TH400 with all linkage - including kickdown, NoSpin 4.10 locker rear end, BB mounts. Cab is shot - rust in floors, supports and inner roof - where light globe leaked.

Doors were replaced several years ago when the truck was painted. They are 72 style doors and very well could be GM. They are 99.99999% rust free. Pass side has a dent where lower trim would be (see pic).

I was told all the firetruck stuff would be worth something to the right person. Beacon light spins and works, siren wails real loud!, back up alarm works, electric hose reel works, 500 gpm pump up front, etc...

$1,800 takes it all. I don't want to part out right now. I'm in NW Al. Call for more details - neat old truck (256) 246-one eight four eight.

Got any pics of the underside of the cab? I want to know what you mean when you say the cab is shot.

Here's a few shots of the underside: Cab supports have been patched up, floor has been patched up and rusting again. I may try listing just the fire related equipment on ebay. If it sells, I will part out the truck - OR...

New price - $1,600!!!!

Interested in the armrest and seat belts if they are red and in good shape maybe even the door panels. Does it have the shoulder belts.
