Swapin bodies 4x4 to 4x2 & vice versa
Tkin the big leap from the 48-54 section of this site to the 67-72. Definitely with BOTH FEET! My son has had a 72 K5 4x4 that I got him for High School Grad several years ago. The problem is, local shows don't allow 4-bys. I bought last week a titled, real 4x2 that is a little rough. We will swap the bodies and keep the 2wd. About 10 weeks ago, I bought a very clean 67 2wd long bed. This weekend I bought a rolling 72 2wd shortbed! What am I smokin?!?!? So NOW, we are starting two projects of body swaps at the same time! Any pointers on either? (My 50 & 52 are out in other shops right now, thank goodness.) I will post pics tomorrow when I'm at my own computer.

Do you got 2 blazers one 4x4 and one 4x2 or a blazer and a truck the body swap should be simple the tubs are the same but either way thats kinda weird the show wont allow 4x4

I have 2 Blazers and two pickups. I think someone with a lifted 4by must have hit someone or somethin, but its pretty much standard around here. |
