i never thought i would ever be asking this question i feel so retarded so go ahead and laugh, i cant get the spare tire off my 86 f150 how stupid can i possible be:dohh:

correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't a flat tire total a Ford anyway? LOL JK

alright, I'm sorry. I am racking my brain trying to develop a mental picture of the truck's spare mount. isn't there a hole above the bumper for the winch? IIRC you take the long jack handle that is mounted above the radiator and stick it in the hole and turn CCW.

lets see here, i am not the best at explaining stuff so bear with me i got the tire layin on the ground and theres a long bolt holdin the tire on and it wont let me screw it out theres some kind of a clip on it, im gettin ready to go outside and ill get some pics to better explain my self

oh, ok. I think I may see it now. is this the type wher you stick the lug wrench through the eye bolt and loosen it from the frame?
