Dead Spot

I have a 82 k10. It has a 350 crate motor with a edelbrock RPM performer Intake, a holley 660. I just put a new fuel pump in (stock) and since then she has a big dead spot from the get go. Checked the timing and made sure the wires were all locked in. Replaced the Dist.,Rotor,Cap,and Coil. I cant figure this out for the life of me. Any help would be greatful. Thanks in advance

Re: Dead Spot

more than likely your accelerator pump nozzle is too small and not giving the engine enough fuel when you open the throttle completely. the accelerator pump discharges extra fuel to allow the carb to "catch up" when you open the throttle.
