Did they ever make short bed 3/4 tons?

Just curious as I spend hours looking on craigslist for old trucks. Did they ever make the short bed in 3/4 ton? I know they never made a 1 ton...but were they limited to half ton only?

Closest thing they had was a Big 10 or Heavy Half shortbed, which is a half ton with 3/4 springs and brakes and a host of other heavy duty goodies. Still 5 lug with a half ton rear though. Somewhere between a 1/2 and 3/4 ton.

Hmmm...there might be a 1 ton short bed poping up in Oregon sometime soon then.

Not factory. Big 10 is the closest it came.

454 in a 2wd shortbox truck, that has to be sick to drive. My 4wd with 35s/4.10s is a blast to drive.....

Special order only---the Santa Fe railroad used to get them in our area. 3/4 ton axles on a short bed truck. Back in the days of real dealerships and manufacturers, the farmer or company could order what he or they wanted and actually get it.

I thought they made K30 in crew cab short bed configuration? I know the question was if they made a K20 shortbed... but I had to throw that out there!

I've seen some custom ones then that looked correct, but then again I never looked at them that close.
