need help, vortec head question

hey if i use vortec heads can i just swap over my old roller rockers and pushrods from my old non vortec heads or what?

i'm pretty sure you can't nothing else is compatable (intakes, valves, even valve covers) I'm not positive aand could definately be wrong. I would call Chevy but make sure it is a parts Department that sells a lot of performance parts and they will probably know for sure. I know you are in TN but if you want call Tim at Midway Chevy here in Phoenix. (602)866-0102 he will steer you in the right direction

No. They have to be self aligning rockers.

Oh, forgot to say, the reason is because the Vortec's don't have built in pushrod guide holes.
