Tell me what you think of this

59 ford falcon, 54,000 original miles, old lady stoped driving it in 1964 from old age sit in a shed since. 292 Y block 3 speed auto, factory a/c, various documents and orginal jack/tools ect. will run and drive near imaculate interior minus the carpet. 1000 bucks or trade for my old motor from the 71 and a beat up worn out ford truck. Sounds like a deal huh? Never really been into older fords but it seems to be a great barn survivor at a good price.

Re: Tell me what you think of this

Well I got the car. Prety neat if I do say so myself. One place that needs minor body work, the grill needs replaced, but other than that it is imaculate. The interior and eng compartment are crazy clean. The PO was gonna pull the eng just to freshen up so I need to put the rad back in and do some wiring and plumbing and I should be able to fire it up and roll. The door stirikers are remarkably clean so it hasnt been used much and i peeked in under the dash and all that wiring and hardware looks brand new. The facory plastic remaining on the rear seat is really brittle and hopefully didnt damage the fabric on the seat in its decay. Soon as we can post pics again i will post some.

I like it already, ... lately I have been thinking of getting an older (60's) or older 4door car for a daily driver, I have always been hung up on 2doors but I am going to look for a 4door...room for car seat and misc.;). just trying to figure out wich make and model..time will tell... Back in the day Ford made some really cool stuff .

Not a big Ford guy, but that is one clean momma! Good deal man, that's absolutely gorgeous. Should make a great cruiser or grocery getter. ;)
