Engine Wiring

I have the wire diagram from an older post for my 64 GMC. I was just wondering if anyone has tried refurbishing their old engine harness. I have the connector. I am thinking I might get some good wire and refurbish what I have. If anyone has pictures of some harnesses I would appreciate it. I plan on getting my truck wired this weekend. It is a 250 i6 I realize this should be in the eletrical section I just figured it would be quicker to reach teh 60's truck guys this way. Thanks! :)

I re-did my own harness a few years back. I picked up different coloured wires in the appropriate gauge and ran them in the original location.
With the original connectors to be re-used, it was a good upgrade.
