A little bit of success

Last weekend I decided to toss the transmission back into the Buick. Honestly the only transmissions I've installed have been manual or manual with a tranfer case hanging off of it. Though not complicated I had an oversight. When I placed the transmission on the jack I dropped the converter. I did'nt think much of it and just placed it back on. The converter was binding up when I started to bolt the transmission up. I realized my mistake and attempted to loosen things up and correctly seat it. Yesterday I decided to drop the whole thing and start over. I enjoyed some success yesterday. Now I just need to wrap up a few things on it and then a site member is going to wire the motor up for me. Getting closer.....:bann: I can't wait to get it back on the floor so I can roll her out and clean up my big mess.

If the converter has been on/off a couple of times, I'd recommend changing the seal, I learned that lesson the hard way. Installed my new 700R and pulled it back off the same day
