Re: finally low
Looks NICE. The front needs to come down another inch or so. eally digging the last picture.
|
Re: finally low
yeah every one is saying that,im going for the speedboat look lol:lol: but im going to buy lowering springs later,,
yea the last pic is my fav. its my wallpaper now :metal: |
Re: finally low
how much of a drop is that front and back?
|
Re: finally low
3/5
|
Re: finally low
I think you should trim up the coils a bit to level that out and you would have 1 A+ ride on your hands. Love how it is coming along.
|
Re: finally low
Looks great. Now cut a coil out of the front springs and drive the wheels off of it.
|
Re: finally low
thanks and
thanks for all yeals help on the other drop spindle help thread, |
Re: finally low
im not a fan of lowering but hey that is a super nice truck
|
Re: finally low
Looking good. I agree, I think the front could be a little lower or the rear higher.
On a side note, how did you get your front bumper to shine like that? I've tried to do that to mine and I just can't seem to pull it off. Thanks Benjamin. |
Re: finally low
thats a new bumper,i was at a car show and the owner of this bumper shop(bumperboys)son droped his toy and it hit my bumper and left a little scratch on it.so he gave me a new bumper lol what a nice guy
,but i use chrome polish by turtelwax, and then wax the crap out of it with car wax. |
Re: finally low
I like your truck, probably because its like my first truck was silver long bed.
|
Re: finally low
Very nice!!!
|
Re: finally low
Ill agree with most of the others .lower thre front 1.5 in & it wil;l be perfect
|
Re: finally low
If you cut your stock coils, I wouldn't cut more than 1/2 coil, 3/4 MAX. 1 cut coil = 2 inches, I don't think you can come down 2 inches and run those tires without major rubbing.
|
Re: finally low
yeah i dont now about lowering anymore up front, how can i lift it up out back some?add a leaf? just a idea
|
Re: finally low
Really NICE!
I'm with the others,... lower the front. (even if you have to use a 15x7 ralley and a shorter tire) Don't raise the back,... it's perfect. Add a new air deflector under your new bumper, add a sport bumper,... Does it ever end? Looks good,... you need a new avatar now. |
Re: finally low
If you did a flip, addidng a leaf in back wont do a thing.
I agree with lolife99 :) Adding a 15x7 will also help reduce the front track width and match the rear much better...otherwise I would run a 1.5" spacer out back to push them out a little. |
Re: finally low
Looks good man. I really need to do mine now. :D
|
Re: finally low
Looks very nice, but I have to agree w/others. The front needs to come down.

Hey - those are some pretty "artsy" photos... |
Re: finally low
thanks i know how to work a camera
the smaller rims and tires upfront is not going to be happing my dad just spent 500$ on new tires, but im going to talk it over with him to see if i am going to cut some off a coil or buy lowering springs and it feels like it has a toe out on the font tires now,is this common with drop spindles |
Re: finally low
Definitely get it aligned now (if you don't change springs), or after, (if you cut or change springs).
I'm sure it will be toe'd out. |
Re: finally low
lows the way to go.
