67 Cab need rocker help

I am thinking about taking my cab to have the rockers welded in it when I bought it someone had already cut out the old ones and never installed the new ones.I am wondering what a fair price would be to weld these in. I have a lincoln handy mig but I am not sure about putting them in myself and I am not the best welder. So If you guys could give me some advice on this it sure would be appreciated.

I have no idea how much it would cost, but if you have a mig why not practice on scrap metal then do it yourself?

There's a good write up on rocker replacement in the FAQ section of the Board. Also plenty of people here to answer any questions you might have. Get some 20 gauge mild steel or a scrap fender to practice on. Good luck!

Do I need to have the doors on the truck? And when I place the new rockers up to the cab there is a 1/2" from the floor to the rocker on each side is that gap right or should the rock mount up flush with the floor?

doors should be hung with the gaps set at the top. There is a 1/2" channel from the rocker and the floor that the weatherstripping sits in.

check the FAQ as stated and you can compare them to your current cab.
