Need Help picking out what to Buy!!
 

I have a 04 Dodge Cummins that I am selling and getting a Tahoe or Yukon. I have not bought a newer Chevy since 98.

I found several Used Tahoes 2005 and 2006 with ~60K on them. Any suggestions on what to look out for on these models?

Do you consider 60K medium miles I am owrried about the life span.

Any help/ Suggestions.

If it has the 5.3 motor, it's just broken in good. These motors run well for upwards of 200k miles. mileage is great and drive-ability is second to none. I don't know the quirks to watch out for as I haven't had any myself. I bought my '05 with 95k on the clock and it runs perfectly!

Congrats, you will like it!

I have an ’04 Hoe that we bought new that now has 98K miles with no real problems to speak of other than it needed the typical instrument cluster due to the 03/04 speedo stepper motor problem, had to replace the electric shift 4x4 button control head, upper intermediate steering shaft and a brake light switch. Pretty much the typical stuff you see on the GMT800’s.

i love my tahoe, it has 120,000 on the 5.3 but it looks brand new inside and out. even has the new car smell.
