Dumb arse clutch spring question

So the rebuilt 327 and saginaw 4 spd are back in the 66. Everything is hooked up, cept the exhaust and the clutch return spring. Where the hell does the spring attach at the rear end of the spring? Does it attach to the cross member? Pics? At the front, it attaches to the clutch pivot crank.

Im not positive but I think there should be a hook or bracket attached to the crossmember that it ataches to.

It hooks into a single hole on the top side of the crossmember.

I've typically seen them hooked in a hole in the bottom flange of the frame.
