To sandblast or not to sandblast my cab?

You have the question of,
Patch and Go or a Full on Resto.
How far are you wanting to go???
The FIRST question to ask a blaster is,
Have they done AUTOMOVIE BODY blasting?
REFRENCES?????
The actual "cab" as in STRUCTURAL frame is not an issue outside of the TOP skin.
Doors are another issue.
Uhh,We just went thru this a few post back.;)
Unless this was grandpaws pride & joy, garage kept and only driven to church on Sunday when it was not raining,
You HAVE RUST.SOMEPLACE.
As I've said,
I have blasted what "appeared" to be "normal" paint and found rust under it.
No guarantees,No "maybes",Only a big YEAH,It's THERE,Just a question of WHERE.
BACKSIDES are where you get blindsided.Consider it JAWS lurking just beneith the surface.Looks good and you 320 it and paint and THEN,it starts to bubble a little later down the road.CHOMP!!!

It never quits amazing me just how "bad" things really are once it comes back from the blaster. It tells no lies and you end up with a Swiss Cheese sandwitch instead of your prize project that a little TLC will take care of.

Sorry,Not trying to be a jerk but as Joe Friday said,
Just the facts man.
