SEM Color Code for a blue interior
 

I did a search coldn't find anything......

I want freshen up my door panels and was looking for the factory blue color in the SEM paint like. Anyone know what color number that would be???

I looked for a matching color for my truck, but couldn't come up with any. I was looking for the "slate blue". In the "color coat" line they just had the "pacific blue" which was quite a bit darker. The "classic coat" line didn't show me a paint chip that I liked.

The upper shows the "pacific blue" that I ended up using.

How did it compare to the stock color? To me it looks the closest out of all of them....

Anyone find out more on this subject? I need the same blue. Whats the GM color code for this blue?

My interior is paint with same paint as the exterior.
it is U-Tech Poly 200 Series. color postion 471-E4

You looking for the interior paint color or the trim color?
SEM paints for the trim weren't close (as in nothing premixed) nothing in light blue. I kinda liked the contrast of the dark "pacific" blue. I didn't do anything with the dash and the seat just got a cover. (mine was a work truck, not a resto)

The paint itself was a PPG color, stock OEM number for the '73. Local PPG store checked the number against my glovebox door color and it matched. (minus 35 years of wear...) Doors were a re-pop and getting paint, so I did want them to match the rest of the interior paint
