.........Im glad its over ! The 2009 season that is . This year was nothing but parts breakage and first round losses . Other than a runner up in Houston and a third rounder in Noble Ok . The rest of the season was pretty much forgetable. The truck ran good this year though ! No matter where we went it ran at least 147.50 on the 10.90 index amd went 149.50 in Memphis . I had plans to go to Crandall(dallas raceway) and run some wide open passes and get some video to show yall but I had more lifter problems and pulled the motor last week . I already have a new crankshaft sitting there waiting and plan to get started on the new combo in a week or two . What kind of crank do you ask ? How about a 5 inch stroke Callies ! Can you say Six Hundred Sixty Five Cubic Inches ? LOL . Now I cant wait till next year .

Good luck next year. I couldn't make it to noble this year, i went out of town. A 665? holey crap:metal:

What size lifters are you running and are they still Crowers?

Kevin Im still running the Crowers (903). They have had a problem recently with some bearings that they were getting from another supplier . I was lucky enough to get one of those sets . The only ones I had problems with were the intakes . I run offset intake lifters so they take a little more abuse than a regular style . From what i can tell only the intakes had this type of bearing . Anyhow they told me they would take care of me . That wont replace my 600 plus dollar Bullet 55mm cam though .

not even gonna try to keep up any more. as long as i can mark my teritory with a little rubber i am happy. i will be up in a few weeks . it would be good to get together.

Man you know if you call kirk and them they will help you all they can,heck I think I went to see them 5 days straight,Very nice people and can do whatever you want them to,I ended up reworking a new set of heads never bolted on because of idiot machinist!

DJ you may get a pic faster by phone . Call me at 903 316 1377 . And I would imagine you will be faster than me . If we ever get to run though you never know the Blue Truck may show up with a little dope on it ......
