fiberglass bed cover build
hey, been lurking for quite a bit and thought I could post some progress pics of a bed cover I'm modifying. I scored a fiberglass bed cover for a late 80's? chevy for $25. what the hell, why not?:metal:
it wouldn't fit on the bed, since the new ones taper, so I had to cut it about 6" in the back and 3" in the front: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g3...k/CIMG0609.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g3...k/CIMG0610.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g3...k/CIMG0611.jpg it's really hard to cut something with your arm that far out straight, btw. I've started fiberglassing it, those are apparently not on my computer yet. more to come. |
Re: fiberglass bed cover build
Then I filled the middle and started to cover with layers of fiberglass:
