NP203T.C. was a full time 4wd.
NP205T.C. was a part time 4wd.
Both used gear lube and had steel(iron?) cases.
NP208T.C. was a part time 4wd in an aluminum case and uses ATF.
Take a magnet and see if'n it'll stick to your case. If'n it does, it's a NP205
If not, it's a NP208.

I have a feeling that it is a 205,but here are a couple of pictures.

203 1st,Its a chain drive case
