She lives once again!

After a 9 months in the driveway, and 2 months in the garage I finally got the engine and tranny back in the truck. MAN! does it feel good to drive her again.

Been tweaking the timing and carb all day taking, "test drives" around town. I almost forgot how great it feels to cruise in style.... Tomorrow I'm going to adventure to downtown Austin and drive her to work... Wish me luck!!!

here is a real quick video i made right after I got her started up and running. nothing special just something to share

Here is what it looked liked when I bought it.

The starter wires ride right along the top of the frame rail.. Is that not the stock location?
I think the video makes them look closer that they truly are, I do plan on rerouting all the wires once I put on the hookers I have waiting in the garage..

O and the drive to work, was SWEEET!!:metal:
The truck as a little hesitation when you first give her some gas, but after that... watchout!
This morning, the ole girl ripped thru the gears like I've never felt before, traction is a real big problem now... O what a problem to have!
