Hey Bamer36, glad to have you aboard with us. You will find there is a ton of information on the site and in the heads of so many members its astounding. I'm actually going to move your thread over to the 73-87 Message Board so some of the square body owners will be able to help you locate the correct gauge cluster parts.

Keep you eye open to the 73-87 parts board as great parts owned by members of the board are posted daily, including OEM, NOS, aftermarket, etc. Also check out Classic Parts of America as they have a ton of aftermarket replacement parts which should help you rebuild your cluster.

What do you mean "mine are done"? Do none of them work, some work, damaged by fire etc...

Re: Gauge cluster

that might not be the gauge, could be the circuit board behind the guages

Re: Gauge cluster

Pull the cluster out and take a look at the circuit board to look for damage and check the condition of the ground & power wires to look for burned areas or corrosion.

If everything looks good pull out your headlight switch and install a new one. I have seen them do some funny stuff.

There are all sorts of options for updated gauges. It all depends upon how much money you want to spend.

Used stock gauges that work
retrofit other GM gauges into stock gauge panel
low end aftermarket analog gauges
mid priced aftermarket analog gauges
high end aftermarket analog gauges
aftermarket individual digital gauges
aftermarket drop in digital gauge package
