Dont skimp on the rockers if one of the 16 losses its needle bearings... You know the rest of the story.

I wouldn't want a cheap rocker to let go and cost me an engine. I would save and buy the Comps.

I have a set of pro-comp roller rockers on my sbc and uh.... my advice.... go with comp cams. Pro-comp is just cheap foreign made parts and really not worth the money. After 3 weeks of being on my truck the poly lock SOMEHOW backed off n i heard the motor go to tickin and luckily i did because 3 came off. I dont see how it came off like that but i guess anything can happen.. and YES im sure the lock bolts were tight.

I've ran Trick flow, Comp, Crane, Crower... and am partial to Crower, or Crane. If you move quick Summit still has sets of the Crane Gold series roller rockers in stock. You will not find more durable roller rocker in a street strip engine, and there a lot lighter than anything steel.

Comp Cams rockers have been good to me so far.

I know if the roller tip pin slides out on some of the cheap rockers, the rocker will come down, pop out the valve locks and drop the valve right into the cylinder.

I've only heard good things about Harland Sharp - In fact I'm looking at picking up a set of their shaft mounted rockers.

I've used two sets of harland sharps and wont bother buying anything else. I tried a set of Summit (aka Scorpion) rockers and I didn't care for them (noisy and bulky). Harland Sharps are great for the money.

you want go wrong with harland sharp rockers. i also had a set of scorpions on a bbc once and 6 out 16 failed at the roller tip. i have 1.8 ratio harland sharps now havent had a problem yet. the only thing is when you get radical size springs and big pushrods they may have to be clearanced alittle. i called harland sharp about this they said they would still guarantee there stuff so alls good here.

I was under the impression that the Scorpion rockers were one of the best. Sounds like they're not???? Anyone else have experience with them?
