Awesome !!! What size are the wheels and tires? They look great, how much is your truck dropped and how ? Sorry for so many question but it is hard to copy someone if you don't know what they have done. he he he he:D
Thanks, John |
Nice Ride..

I couldn't think of a better custom wheel for our trucks. VERY sweet.

The wheels are 17 X 8 Torq-Thrust II's and the tires are T/A 255 - 50 R17's in front and Nitto 275 - 50 R17's in back. I kinda wish i had gone with a 7" wheels in front. I usually don't care for that much offset in front, but once I get the truck lowered it will probably look just fine. I have only had the truck since Dec. 22nd. I was told the builder heated the coils (AARRGGHH!!) to lower it. I am going with a 4/5 inch drop. I do plan to take her to a few shows. I have been a diehard street rodder since 1977. I bought the truck and sold my 1925 Buick Rod. I told my wife I must be turning into a "truck guy". Actually I have been wanting a truck just like this for a long time. This will be my "running around" truck for many years to come. It's a '72 with 1995 350/350 combo. She runs and drives like new. The builder must have totally rebuilt the suspension. Why go to all that trouble and then heat the coils?? Go figure! Thanks for the comps!!

looking good

Lookin good! Those have to be some of the best looking wheels for these trucks. Maybe someday mine will be rolling around on some.
:bowtie: |
Those are looking good. Almost makes me want to swap to 5 lug.
|
Awesome truck,I'm not a big 2-tone fan but those wheels and tires made yours real sharp!!!!!!
|
Sweet truck! Now i'm wanting to do the 5 lug swap! Love the wheels!
|
Very nice!
|
That is a sharp rig. I really do like that color combo. Don't go messing it up and lower it anymore tho. Its perfect just the way it is. Nice job, Jeff.

B!CHN!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN GOING BACK IN FORTH ON WHAT TO DO WITH MY 72 GMC EITHER 67-68 STYLE OR 72 CHEVY TWO TONE RED/WHITE/RED ,YELLOW/WHITE/YELLOW OR BLUE/WHITE/BLUE LIKE YOURS.aND AFTER LOOKING AT YOURS I BELIEVE IT WILL BE TWO TONE FOR SURE LEANING A LITTLE TO B/W/B OVER Y/W/Y. AGAIN DAMN NICE JOB.

That is flat out beautiful!!! I'm envious.
Couple of questions - Where did you get the wheels and tires? Did you do front and rear at the same time? If the coils were heated, you already have a drop, correct? Do you have a measurement as to how far it was dropped front and rear? The stance looks great the way it is, and I would like to duplicate it. Also noticed (and this is NOT a criticism) that you're pipes coming off the exhaust manifolds/headers look like mine. Don't change yours, but if I wanted to change mine, how can I get those pipes to "suck up" a little more, so they don't hang down so low that they are visible. Very cool ride! Congrats.l Thanks Paul p.s. Bet you wipe off your shoes before you get in and go for a ride.:) |
Perfect paint scheme, perfect wheels, all i have to say is....WOW!
|
What you have is one nice truck!!!
|
The only thing that would make it cooler if it was in my driveway.
That looks awsome, and i agree that it looks about as perfect as it can. |
