WTB: 16.5 x10" steel wheels

I am looking for a set of 16.5 x 10" wheels that will fit a 3/4 ton 4x4 80 chevy truck. I am looking for steel factory type wheels not spoke.
Thanks, Mark

I have some, but am hanging onto them. They are getting harder to find in my area. I think a lot of them wound up crushed in my area, as I have had my set for about 11 years and don't stumble across them like I used to. Trevor

I have 5 for my truck, my step brother has 2 of them, and I just saw 2 on a ford pickup yesterday. They are really hard to find, if you find some don't let them go. Sorry none for sale.

Just a bit of info for you . There were three different offsets made in that wheel . Not all will work on the front of a 3/4 ton 4x4 . They will rub if you get the ones with the most backspace . I think the other two will work . If you cant insert your finger between the wheel center and the rib in the outer hoop , they wont bolt onto the front .

Hey, look what I found. Their probably a lot more than what you want to spend but hey their brand new. Check out the "Heavy Duty Truck - 20 Series"

Jeez, $200 for a stock friggin wheel. I'll hit the junkyards to find them. That's just crazy.

Yeah its just a last resort. I'd start calling up junk yards, theirs bound to be some somewhere.

I had a set of 8s on my old truck, I sold them and can't remember to who. I woudn't mind having a set. Everytime I hit the yard here, that is one of the many things I look for.

They don't look like GMs, but I only ever had 1 set, that was couple years ago.

Re: WTB: 16.5 x10" steel wheels

I`ve run the wider offset on all four corners. The only problem is mixing them up.The 9.75s were primarily a rear wheel for 2wds,which are deep offset, and the less offset are aftermarket for 4wds and utility.
The inner nubs are Ford wheels. The clip-type are`68-earlier,and the outer nubs in that listing are correct for`69-up GM.
Just because these wheels aren`t blingy hoops doesn`t make them cheap. For a nice set figure sandblasting, powdercoating, and a set of cherry hubcaps=not cheap, just more classy. When those blingy hoops are dull, damaged,or just played out these steelies are just breaking in.You can blast and paint them forever.

Im going to have to disagree with you about the ford ones being inner nubs, maybe some of them were but I have 2 or 3 of the outer nub ones with ford stamped on them and my others are gm.

Re: WTB: 16.5 x10" steel wheels

Disagree if you want.Just like GM went from clips to outer nubs,Ford went from inner to outer nubs.My point was GM never used inner nubs.

1985-GMC 01-30-2010 09:46 PM

Re: WTB: 16.5 x10" steel wheels

OK I took what your were saying as "ford only had the inner nubs", that's all.

Wow that is expensive. I wonder what the 16 x 10" would look like. They are 155.00.

Did you ever find any of these? There's some on craigslist: http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/2555976255.html

Or if you look up "camper special" some of the trucks still have them on the rear, this one looks like the might be: http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/cto/2582951779.html
