With the sale/pick up of the C-30 dually "mutt" 1 day away...we had to fill its place in the shop with something equally as cool..........fresh from a horse pasture in Newnan, Georgia, (literally) let me introduce you all to "Tater". He comes complete with operational dump bed, shovel rack, complete with a bullet hole in the hood and 3 different size wheels and tires! I dont think I have ever owned one that was beat this bad!

Us GA boys sure know how to treat a truck. Hey, but it has got potential. Lots of potential!

did you paint that medium duty? I assume that it's 505 Dark Green? Looks nice, is that single stage or base/clear? Reason I ask is my 68 had the same paint and i'm trying to get ideas for a "better than stock" paint scheme...

Don`t do a whole lot to that one,if you don`t mind.I`d be fine with it how it sits.Have any idea of an approxinate time you`ll be getting tired of this one?

That 505 has a tint of yellow in it when it`s healthy that brighten`s it up.When it`s tired it doesn`t look like something you`d want back on your truck after all the work.Of course, that`s alot of colors.

I missed the names! My eye was drawn to the big bowtie with the 30 under it!

Re: Project "TATER-no rust-never off road-rat rod-1967 C-30 dump"

MSGROSS...........single stage.....they just shot the dash or ash tray to get the color.

Special-K..........Im sure it wont stay here long...I am moving away from the 67-72's selling most or all of the collection as you know. We just drug this one home because it was cheap and it had a PTO on it. I was going to make a mobile log splitter/hauler out of it using the PTO but it actually runs too well and has too much character to chop up. Final outcome or destination yet to be determined.

After decorating the shop parking area for half a year it is finally "Maters/Taters" turn. Actually the name has changed a few times....It might be Manerd now....I don't know?! Board member "OrangeCrush1970" aka Jimmy Bob has decided life would be way cool with a dump truck in inventory so he has taken over this project to be used in his business. With the help of Taylor, board member "Old School Kid" and Mr. Paul we got the donor truck front clip removed and its engine pulled out. Manerd pulled in under its own power and his front clip removed and engine pulled. Clean up, pretty up and some way cool parts to come.....this things going to be TOUGH!
