Re: brake pedal install ?
I believe captainfab makes an adapter for the brake booster. Not sure on the brake pedal or steering column.

Re: brake pedal install ?
If at all possible I would recommend staying with the orig pedal bracket assembly as it will help with the column also. Not sure how much you have removed, I figure probably everything but I would modify the dash of the newer truck and work around the orig assembly. You can play with pedal length and hight pretty easy with modification of rods and some heat. I would also second the Captainfab contact as he puts out the best bolt in brackets I have seen in anything aftermarket.

Re: brake pedal install ?
i would try to use up till 89 colomn. you will get the features and still use your pedals. if you try the the later style im not sure if you will without major issues

Re: brake pedal install ?
i found out tonight it will work. i pulled the whole pedal mount assy out of the burb. pulled out the mount in the 65. the firewall ribs have to be trimmed some and the new mount has to be cut to fit but it looks like it will work good. the truck was a 3 speed orignally but it is getting the 350 and 4l60e. right now it is just gonna be the shop truck but will eventually be given a frame off.

Re: brake pedal install ?
we removed the original clutch pedal and cut off the pad from the stock arm and cut the pad off of a 73 chevy donor pedal arm and rewelded the wide auto pedal to the stock arm just had to get the angle of the pad right. then we added a gusset because of the offset of the pad on the arm. that way it bolted right back up stock. also drilled the pushrod hole an inch lower to run the 73 booster on our truck. if you dont lower the pushrod then it will apply double pressure on the booster i was told and the brakes would be very sensitive. if that makes any since....
