Two manual trans radiators
I've got a couple radiators I picked up from a guy cleaning out his storage unit. Both look to be two-core copper/brass radiators in decent shape. Had a local radiator shop look them over; no obvious defects or problems. One's missing the overflow tube at the filler neck so it'll need to be brazed on.
$25 + shipping for the one without the overflow $35 + shipping for the one with. Buy 'em both for $50. http://picasaweb.google.com/utvaquer...77084782791826 http://picasaweb.google.com/utvaquer...77095716648370 I can also arrange delivery anywhere between Vegas and Salt Lake along I-15 for a delivery fee if that helps anyone. |

Re: Two manual trans radiators
Tod,
I'll take it down to the UPS store on Monday and get you an estimate. Let you know as soon as I do. |
Re: Two manual trans radiators
OK, I just got a shipping quote to that ZIP. Looks like with packing and shipping fees, it'll be about $45. If you want it for $80, shipped I'll do it.

Re: Two manual trans radiators
not bad-
2 questions: This was inspected but was it pressure tested by your rad. guy? and- Is the top hose connection spout way out of round? |
Re: Two manual trans radiators
I brought the radiator shop all 3 radiators I bought. One had a trans cooler and the other 2 were manual trans radiators. I figured I could use one of them with an external cooler if I had to but with priority on the auto trans radiator.
He physically inspected all 3 but only pressure tested the auto trans one. Since it held pressure, he didn't need to go any further. So, no, I didn't pay to have him pressure test the other two; just look for obvious problems that would need fixed. And, on the top hose tube, it does have a good size dent on the bottom. I imagine from being stored in a storage unit and moved around? I'm thinking a hammer and drift pin should straighten it out fine. |
Re: Two manual trans radiators
Both radiators still up for grabs.
