Axle and Disc Brake Swap for 1970 K10 4x4

I have a 1970 K10 4x4 shortbed pick-up. It has the stock axles with drum brakes all the way around. I would like to swap axles that came with disc brakes. I think 1972 K10's had this set-up but I couldn't find it in past threads. Any information from anyone who has done this swap would be greatly appreciated (pictures would be a big help). Thanks!

I think from 71 to around 1980 should be a bolt in procedure for the whole assembly. Possibly even later. Just make sure your gear ratio matches up. Eric
