Dually Burbans
Anyone got any info on these things
i saw one first time a couple of years ago on ebay never seen anything like it they seem to popup once in wile but where they convertion trucks like ext sqaure bodies or did they come that way from the factory? |
Re: Dually Burbans
They may have been made by conversion companies or by the owners. I have seen dually subs and blazers. Like the extended cabs they were not factory options.

Re: Dually Burbans
I remember seeing a few of them a while back when they were still popular...as in before that $4.50 a gallon gas hit us all here in the US. I also remember they were built in Texas somewhere I think.

twister dually burb. It was for sale at the Norman swap meet. I think they wanted like $6000-$8000 :jdp: it looked rough too.... |
Re: Dually Burbans
I like that Twister one. Looks cool, in a menacing way.
A dropped Blazer with a dually conversion would be killer. |
Re: Dually Burbans
I know of one for sale in NH if anyones interested. 2wd 454 white, I'm guessing it's about an 84. Was told it's from Arizona or someplace that doesn't have rustbuckets like we do here.
There was also a black one on NH Craigslist for a long time, 454 truck for $1700. Not sure what he wants for the white one. They are a really cool looking truck, but I couldn't figure out what to do with it. 2wd is of no use to me, and you can't load enough weight in the back of a suburban to need duals. Maybe make it tow a little better, but you can't really tow enough behind a suburban to really need dual wheels. I'm kind of a form-before-function kind of guy. |
