Factory pinstripe for 87 two tone
 

Is it possible to get the factory pinstripe for the upper seam on a two tone Silverado? I think mine was orange and black. I am sure I could have it made at a sign shop but if I had a picture of it or if I knew for sure what it looked like. My truck is grey and red.

I think this has been discussed before, and I don't think anyone is reproducing them specifically. You may talk to a body shop and see where they get their stuff from when they do a job.

classic industries has them. but they seem to be pretty proud of them. I should think you could get them from an autobody shop cheaper, and pick different colors.

Hey, I've wanted for a long time to paint a two-tone Chevy yellow and white, but no one believes it would look good! I think they just can't envision it. When I was a kid my friends dad had a RCSB that was pale yellow and off-white, and it was the talk of the town. Everyone loved it, it was so pretty.

Finally got a 1 ton crewcab, but I was convincing myself I couldn't paint it yellow and white because of the red interior. Almost looks like red interior in that one pictured. What do you think? Could I pull off yellow and white on a crewcab fleetside, with red interior? I thought a tan interior would be ideal, but the red is in pretty good shape and I don't want to change it if I can avoid it.

I'd find a different color stripe though, that green just doesn't do it for me. Maybe gold and white or silver and white.

wish I knew how to photoshop, I'd love to lay those colors over a 4wd crewcab fleetside to see how they'd look.

the local oreilly's has it here, its just like a pinstriping tape, but its a two-stage, its just there as TRUCK STRIPING, lay the thick one down first, then the skinnier one on top..

Did they come factory or you recently added them? If recently added, where you get em?
A menber "tswore" put me to a site www.classicindustries.com I am checking it out now. They do have the stripe but will have to call on the color as they dont show but one. Like he said...They are proud of them! I am not past getting a body shop to do a two stage to make it look factory. Thanks man!

Mine is factory with the exception of the right front fender that has been replaced and the body shop painted it on.
