anyone have the routing and or picture of how the vacuum hoses are routed?


something is and has been wrong with the way my hvac controls work and i wanna see about fixing it.

when i removed my a/c years back i think i may have taken out too many things. most of the things work, but let me show you this:

what is missing from this picture that i need?

i know there is a 'half bowl' type cover that goes over there, but what else do i need?

from what i think i know, there is a black rubber door that opens up there. its used to recirculate the air.

the system was a factory a/c so it was vacuum controlled. i have the vacuum line pluged that went to it.

any idea where to get one at? i can't find the right name to search for on any site or ebay or classicparts.com :-/

That's the door for the recirculating air for when its set to MAX. When I look on ebay for kickpanel, i usually see them still attached with the vacuum actuator. The there is a half dome plastic trim part that covers it held on by 3 screws.

looks to be i'll need the whole kick panel and mod it to fit behind my qlogic panels.

any idea where i can buy one and what other misc parts i'll need?

classicparts.com has it listed in the book but not online.

34-341 - air vent valve - $49.95

it shows 34-341 listed for 3 parts:

left and right w/o AC
left w/ ac
right w/ ac

hey oc where is the pic of the other side of kick panel. i want see HOW the spring is attached to the actuator door. thanks for any help 73gmc

thanks a perfect picture of both. my kick panel parts are the same, except 1 part is missing. if you look at the pic, part that attaches to the a/c door, looks like a u setup with 2 clips. one side to the door the other to the bracket piece. ie : the part is attached to the door eye anchor and the bracket lever which is attached to the actuator. will go to parts yard for the u setup parts. thanks for the help. joe
