Are these factory highbacks for a C10
2 Attachment(s)
I have these seats with brakets and stuff - are they factory seats for our trucks (mine's an '80)? I'm being told they are.
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
AFAIK they are not... they look to be 80's gm found in the camaro, cavalier, s-10 and equivalent GM products from back then... the brown vinyl would be cavalier or more likely s-10...

Actually the vinyl is burgandy but this is interesting.

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
No, they are not C-10 buckets. This is your first gen highback-

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
I guess I'll keep my bench lol. I wonder what they are from?
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
If you like them, and the price is right get them. No reason that you can't put them in your truck. Just saying they are not factory buckets for a C-10.

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
I got them with the truck when I bought it with a console - I want to keep the interior 'correct' so these are a no go.
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Cool...:)
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
where's a pic of the console...so you can make sure it's correct for the truck

The console looks like the one in the picture above but it has a lot of brushed aluminum or trim I should say on it and it's burgundy
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
You could always find a set of highbacks that are right to put in there with that console...or you could sell the console...I call first dibs if you sell and it's just like the one above with the round cup holders and not square holes
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
It's the same but it has aluminum trim -you could paint it what ever color you want. - I can get a picture on the weeked. The parts are not at my place. I may sell everything since i'm not going with the buckets
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
I don't need the buckets, but I would buy the console if the picture are good and the price is right...
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
I'll get a picture up on the weekend, and I'll see what I want to do. If i decide to sell it all, I'll make sure you get first shot at the console.

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
appreciate it...;)

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Those would make a fine pair of Shop Recliners... Just mount em on a swivel tilt base and chill.
|
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Those look like the same seats in my old neighbors 70's Chevy van.

Not so fast. They look like factory M1009 CUCV seats to me. Factory for a c10? No. Factory for a square body GM truck? Maybe.
What tracks were on them? if they are from an M1010 ambulance, they are pickup tracks... |
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Hey El Gracho. That's crazy man. I've been in the Army for 10 years now and all the CUCV's I've driven were bench. The blazers were buckets from what I remember, but I can't quite recall. You don't by chance happen to know what CUCV's the buckets all came in do you? Id like a set!
Nevermind, just saw that you wrote M1009. That's the nomenclature for Blazers right? I'm not big on the CUCV's. |
Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Both tracks are adjustible. I'll have to look this weekend. Those are the seats right there! What is a M1009 CUCV

Re: Are these factory highbacks for a C10
Blazer?
