67 GMC one ton progress pics
5 Attachment(s)
So I thought to myself, I have been working on this truck for about two months now and havent posted anything up about it. I did a little trading with bobvilla67 back in september and got started working on it in november. The plans are to combine the 69 chevy with the 67 gmc. I have gotten alot deeper into this project than I planned on. As of now it is almost ready for paint! Hopefully next weekend I will be able to shoot it. Here are some pics hope yall enjoy.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
It's really coming along. Are those 3/4 ton hubcaps up in the rafters? Must have missed them when I was up there. Come to think of it, it looks like you took the cab to someone elses garage for paint so maybe not.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
I believe they were 1/2 ton gmc caps. A friend of mine let me use his shop to paint in. He has alot more room than I have to work in.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
I know what you mean. It's hard to paint a vehicle when you don't have much space to work in. Hey, if you come accross some really nice painted chevy 3/4 ton hubcaps let me know. I need a couple for my suburban.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
They are 1/2 ton hubcaps.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
Sorry Shane, I kind of hijacked your thread with the hubcap questions. I Don't know if I asked this when I was up there but what engine trans. combo are you going to be running in that thing?

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
Its a 402/th400. All the suspension is from a 89 chevy one ton

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
Nice! I guess thats why you need those big block A/C brackets. Not sure if you know this but you can get reproduction big block A/C brackets thru The Truck Shop in California. They cost about what I see people selling used originals on here for. Just a fyi for you

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
I didnt know they reproduced A/C brackets.

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics

Very nice truck. :metal:

Re: 67 GMC one ton progress pics
Shane, Go online and download the catalog for Truck Shop in Orange, California. Look on page 41. Depending on what bracket you need they cost between $16-79 per bracket. Not sure about the quality of the metal, but im sure it will get the job done. Hope this helps.
