I'm Stumped..... No power to dome light
I have a 91 burb v1500, it is loaded, has power mirrors and rear air with heat and factory remote start, I don't have power to my dome lights, lighter or power mirrors, yes I checked the fuses. I am fairly knowledgeable on these trucks, but this has me stumped. Any help would be appreciated.....

Dome lights are supplied by this orange wire.
http://lh6.ggpht.com/_Pwr_hEq8sOM/S1...0/SL384289.JPG And is supplied by this outlet in the fuse box upper left hand side. and the white wire goes to the door pin switches and headlight switch. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_Pwr_hEq8sOM/S1...0/SL384290.JPG The cigarette lighter is also supplied by the same circuit on previous year models but I don't have a wiring diagram yet so I cannot prove it is so on the later models. In my 95 model wiring diagram it shows all three of your problems coming from the "HORN/DM" fuse. So, if you have power at that fuse then you will need to follow the power flow and find where it stops. |
