anyone got 1987 dated license plates?
 
just got a "wild hair",.....that other post got me thinkin....

i'd like to have a set of plates dated "1987" to match my truck, state dont really matter..(although Tx, Ca, or Fl ones would be cool)

The best I remember Virginia went to decals in 1974. Sorry, no help from me.

I agree. They did the same here in Oklahoma too. Don't remember when exactly though. They would be pretty cool though.

It might have been a national deal, becuase 74 was the last year for stamped plates in Texas too.

I have a set of plates, they are Idaho plates, they read S 1987 but they were made in 2004 and last registered in 05 I think

plans for big red

-lower it with either 15" torq thrust II's, or 20" coys

-5.3L or 6.0L swap

i sold the black truck b/c my hours were getting cut back at work, and i put up for sale my chopper, and my truck....well josh bought the truck, and like the next day i sold my chopper for a pile of money...so if the bike would have sold first, i'd have never sold the truck....kind of a long story...

...but i did end up finding "big red", and its a really nice truck

Hind sight is always 20/20. I say your good with the red truck. Not that it is worse or better than your black one, but you have another truck and that is all that matters. Keep on trucking, and don't look back! :metal:

Mn had stamped plates until 5 yrs ago. I still got stamped ones on my dually. (prison labor is cheap)

Kentucky has a stamped plate still tell today.Look online im sure you can find what your looking for.
