If you will do a search for posi tag on ebay, there is a NOS unit for $25 going on right now. There are also several repops for around $10. Hope this helps, Harold

Dennis. Zip Corvette Products carries repops. The 73-79 tag says "USE LIMITED SLIP DIFF LUBRICANT ONLY" &
the 68-72 tag says "USE POSITRACTION DIFF LUBRICANT ONLY" Mike.

The drain plug holds it in place. If you unscrew the plug it should come right off. Thanks, Dennis

Yes, my plug had the shoulder to hold the tag instead of a standard straight walled plug. Not sure this is true on all rears, but good point on something to look for. Dennis

Not trying to jack the thread, but do they reproduce the fill plug with "shoulder for this tag??

Sharpie1972, I pulled that tag today but it does have a couple small cracks in it. Not sure if you want it or not. Let me know.
