Alloy or aluminum will not rust and will be lighter than steel. You can also use a magnet and if it sticks you know they are steel. Do you by chance have the center caps. For those of you who do not know Weld and Cragar both discontinued the 5x5 bolt pattern because of to many returns on the alloy wheels, before Weld discontinued these they tried to make a Weld XP version with a rolled lip that was suppose to be stronger. The XP's lasted a few years but they still had alot of returns and they decided to discontinue the wheel in the 5x5 pattern. The XP version takes a special lug nut and can only be purchased through Weld and they are about 60 bucks. The good thing about OARNGESI'S wheels is that they are not XP's and you should be able to run a after market lug nut. I learned this info from a hour long conversation with a Weld tech rep. I have a set of the XP's. on my 94.
