Torsion Keys?

are your bars cranked now? i would crank them first if you didnt already, and if you cant get enough then do keys, but the max i would crank is 2 inches, the purpose of keys is to let you crank the bars farther.

Re: Torsion Keys?

Cranking the bars up also has the side-effect of stiffening the suspension. So be aware that this is the reason, if it gets too rough.

Be careful. I installed a torsion key lift on my 94 yukon 2 door and it rides like crap now. Installed new rancho shocks in front to help, but it didn't. Its really bouncy and I'm worried I'm gonna ruin my front end. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I put this cheap lift on so I could get clearance with my wheels and tires as well, but regret it and don't really want to spend more than I have to to get it fixed. Aggravating!

Good luck and let me know how your ride is once you get it installed.

i had an s10, and the max lift you can do on those is 1.5 inches, then you start to go through balljoints really fast, and it rode like a dump truck

depending on how much you crank you can ruin parts fast

I changed the keys on my 03 Duramax when it was new and it rode horrible. I hated it and took it back out. Way too hard on the front end also. I dont recomend it at all.
