OK, Blue truck owners, what color interior?
 

I've decided on a dark blue metallic with some charcoal accents and I'm trying to decide what color to paint and upholster the interior. I was wanting to go with a board member's suggestion and add some custom wood trim, but I can't see it working too well with a light gray interior I had planned.

Being the first idea that came into my head, I'm having a tough time getting another interior color to look right in my mind's eye, does anyone have an interior other than a blue or gray in their blue truck?

do a black with grey seat insert seat with black carpet and dash pad make sure you match the paint closely to fabric or it will look funny

I am planning on going with a greay or sandstone color..

Gray is the way I went. I may get some pics tomorrow.

I may shift the color... sounds like all blues are blacks and grays... If I go dark green, orange or red, I can easily go with a light tan color and wood features. If I go gray, there's always ebony and other black woods, but they really don't look too different than plastics. Damn that color wheel and my color coordination gene. (my wife makes fun of me because my hat belt and shoes always match... I made fun of her because hers didnt... man I have a comfortable couch)

You could always go blue? I like interior colors more than black and gray.

I went gray, but mainly because it matches my engine compartment also. My first original choice was blue that matches or maybe even a navy blue. I wanted to keep mine simple and keep the same theme throughout the truck. Adding another color would've made it look too busy.

Whatever you do, don't pick interior colors until the truck is painted. It's easier to pick interior colors to match paint than to pick paint colors to match interior. If you're planning to paint the truck a dark blue with charcoal trim, you could go with a navy blue interior with charcoal accents. I wouldn't try to add any wood trim or accents with the blues though.

Tan-orange ... similiar to the color of a baseball glove.

There is a 47-53 body style AD truck in the current Custom Classic Trucks magazine that is dark metallic blue and with this interior color and it is absolutely gorgeous.
