I painted my '67 LWB with their Flat Black.

I've been pretty happy with it but the stuff does scratch pretty easy because their is no clear coat to take the abuse before the damage gets done to the actual paint. When I paint my truck in a couple years I'll go with a normal paint job (i.e. using clear coat) but I would not hesitate to use their products again.

I do remember that their prices were reasonable and they shipped fast.

I don't have any pics to share at the moment, but I've painted my cab with a nice red base coat and then cleared it with a flattened clear. You can paint it any color you want and it looks just like the hot rod flatz, except with a clear protectant. The only draw back is you can't really wet sand or it will start to shine a little.

I hear that blitz is some tuff stuff, and is not supposed to break down. I guess it would have to be since they supposedly paint the under sides of fenders on the tractors with it. It comes in a hand can too, but I bet that would be tough to keep from getting the lines. I think I am going to go with the blitz too since my truck sees a good deal of work. By the way looks great on that nova.

thanks bro........that was my first paint job lol.........blitz black drys fast though your right about the lines.......best to paint it when is cooler to slow the drying process......i reduced it 10 to 1 and painted it when it was cold and rainy with the garage doors open lol......came out killer......they also have a hardener for it which i didnt use .......its perfect for a quick and easy paint job.

Mine was painted a couple of weeks ago using Hot Rod Flatz. Wish the tech sheet told you alittle more. We found out the more coats applied the smoother the finished.

We applied two coat to everything, but had some issues with the hood and add a third coat and the hood came out the best

WOW My mind has been changed. I am gonna use the Blitz Black. My 76 gmc shot step 4X4 would look bad a$% in this color. Has anyone seen a 4X4 painted that color
