69-72 K5 Pop Top Camper.
 

Just thought i'd put out the word. An older guy i know in town has a 72 Jimmy and it has the 4 wheel drive pop top camper on it. He is looking to trade it for a top and tailgate. It is in excellant condition for its age. He has moved up to a 74 GM motorhome they travel in so he wants to put the jimmy back to stock. A great oppurtunity for the right person. Any chance of getting some pics..? I don't think I have ever seen one so I have no idea what it would look like.. Is it similar to the Vanagons..?

From my archive...the next time i am in town i will call him and snag a few pictures. Since its a barter item...and its so clean i want it to go to a good home...

So it like the Vanagons a little.. Does it have a bed as well, I am assuming it might be placed over the cab area..? What is the interior like..? It looks pretty neat actually..

More importantly does anyone have interior shots?

Did these mount to the bed rails or were they a slide in? I thought I have read they were more of a topper setup where the camper things (stove, heater etc) were all mounted up high on the walls of the unit itself.

I ask because I have a roll cage to deal with and short of major modifications to it slide in's are out for me.
