Power steering grrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

allright so here we go

pulled the PS motor to clean it up and get crap out of it, put it back togther and reinstalled, replaced power steering pump due to screaming bearings..

guys at the store swear it cant be a bad pump, but all i did was pull the PS motor and remove the top cover with the adjuster screw and clean the garbge out of it, and freshly installed an new PS pump.
oh and lifted the truck and operated the steering to relieve aire bubbles, truck running and with it off.

so here's what it's doing.
it is profusely pouring out of the cap, no matter the start level it just pours out of the ps cap.. .constantly... im sick of it... please help!

my next step is to replace the PS pump again and raise hell for a bad part, but! it's a pain in the ass because my chebys now my DD again

You might check to see if the high side hose is installed in the correct port on the gearbox. If the high side hose is going to the low (return) side of the gearbox the checkvalve could be causing your fluid to build up pressure inside the pump. It might also be a clogged highside hose, try running a wire through it

i replaced the pump tday (finally) and the problem left, the high side hose only fits in that hole, the return hoze the same...
cleaned both hozed and checked for clogs nada,
pulled the "cap" off the steering box and reinstalled it. i did this all in one shot so i dunno waht really fixed it, but im assuming that it was the "new" ps pump
