Front Coil Springs

I have seen alot of application charts that say a coil spring from 1963-1986 fits the 1966 C-10. I know the front end was changed in 1973. So do those coil springs actually fit in my 66? Has anyone put those springs in thier factory control arms?

We cut out 1 and a half coils on the front, and the rears are heated. I have new to me coils to cut for the rear. Thanks for the compliment!
