Then we tore into it and pulled it down to the frame. Where we sandblasted it and the donor disc brake. We painted the frame and rolled it to the side

Then we picked a good day last fall and stabbed the engine, tranny and set the cab on and started assembly. At this point we had all the body work done except the bed.

Logan then started driving it around a little with no bed. We shure could do some awesome burnouts. We spent the winter blocking and streightening the bed. Heres what we started with.

Then last friday 03-19-10 we pulled it into a friends paint booth. We shot the copper friday night, saterday we spent about 4 hour making shure our stripes were even. Then we shot the champaighn (silver) then 2 coats of clear and were home by 6 pm. Then sunday after church we put it togather enough to drive it home. Heres what we ended up with. These pics are before it was completely reassembled.

Dang dude! Love the paint job. The stripes really set it apart from others. How long did the build take from start to finish? Great job!

We bought it on 9/9/08 and still have a couple things to do, so roughly 18 months.

That's a nice color combination. I'm always interested in seeing colors that are a little different, or colors that get away from the "standard". Looks like you guys are doing a really nice job!:metal::metal::metal:

Very nice! I like seeing something out of the norm. I would consider getting that kid a paint respirator though... ;)

Looks VERY professional. He ought to be very proud of his (& your) work on this project, and the memories of time well-spent working together on it will last him a lifetime.

Congratulations.

I'll look for it when I pass thru Harrison from time to time.

Missing mine .................
