2004 2500 turnsignal/flasher problem
 

my budy has an 04 2500 hd d max and the other day we pulled a car to scrap then dropped the trailer and went to go to the bar and used the left turn signal and the 4 way flasher came on. turned the signal off turned on the right nad it was just fine, turned the left back on and the fourways again. is it the turnsignal switch or what could it be? it started to work again but has done it twice now.

did you check your bulbs. I want to say that is the way the truck tells you that a bulb is out. I could be wrong but it's worth a check.

i know on my 04 1500 Z71 i had the same thing happen to me 3 nights ago coming home from work. I thought somehow i hit the flashers but i didnt..i hit left and left signal worked..right and the4 ways came on..not just on the dash but all the lights flashed...i just hit my 4 way buton let off and it worked again..i just thought it was a gremlin somewere
