On Feb 06,2010 I payed $450 for parts. A week later he tells me things have come up causing a delay in the shipping. This is perfectly fine w/ me. He stayed in contact and I understand crap happens. A month latter nothing has been shipped. I tried contacting multiple times giving him an out if he hasnt shipped yet, no response. I had no choice but to file a claim w/ paypal and let Liz know about it. I finally got a response but it was the same deal "Ill ship by such and such", never happened. Paypal eventually resolved the case in my favor and all the money has been recovered. I want to give a big thank you to Liz for being promt in her actions and staying in contact. I now know I will have to get more personal information from the seller before I commit such a large amount of money. "Only two things come from texas, steers and..." you know the rest. (He was from texas). Now dont all the tehans get mad, Im just trying to make light of a crappy situation.

Refrain from making lame comments about groups from certain regions & people won't get mad (I'm not mad BTW...).

Sorry about the issues & frustrations. Sucks it didn't work out for ya'. He had other stuff listed that I was interested in but I guess your bad deal pulled the plug on other potential problems.

I also have an ongoing problem with 70 Suburban, but luckily not that much. I paid him $170.00 for parts almost two months ago, but have not received any parts. I have emailed, PM'd and talked to him on the phone. I have asked for him to return the PP $ if he is not able to get me the parts. I have also opened a complaint with PP.

I hope he steps up and refunds you as well. This area informs me when posts are made. If you could please post and let us know whats goin on here, we can do what we can to assist.

I had a problem with him a while back, but it was resolved. Hope yours gets resolved as well.

I know he is mad that I offed his access to all areas of the site but here. I know he had been in contact with Josh, and believe he had said he was making good on this. Not 100% though on that.

If you have his cel number, I would contact the local police in his area and ask advice. They usually are willing to go make a visit or call and ask what is up.

Good luck on getting your money back, it sucks that there have to be crooks on every website. If I had his cell# I'd give him hell, I'd also take liz's advice and call the local PD too, I bet that would get results.

Texted him last week- said he was camping and had sent the $$ back and would get me a PP transaction id#... nothing
I opened an internet crime complaint and informed him as well.
Don't think he is very happy... bummer for him

Amazing when I mentioned internet crime- the $$ appears in my PP account......
Then he has the kahunas to say "sorry it didn't work out" and " I have no use for the parts and will just be sitting on them"
So I replied fine- go ahead and ship- I will pay you when I get the parts in hand
